yes we know a blog is supposed to be err…. well… up to date , but we have been busy over the last few months, Christmas, Easter, staff coming and going. So we are going to try a bit harder !
The shop is looking fabulous but not many customers, we are doing extremely well with our own published book The Ferry Birds by Helen Dunmore. We have sold nearly 500 copies and expect to sell over a thousand copies by the end of the summer. Rick Stein has opened a chippie and Ron had food poisoning , its true one oyster !Ron is off to the Book Industry Conference in London on Sunday, the book world may never be the same…
