MEET KATY:

Hi, I’m Katy Lazenby and I’ve been a bookseller for about 7 years.

I started working at Falmouth Bookseller in 2005 and I’ve been managing the shop since Feb 2006.

Reading is my greatest pleasure, so, running such a wonderful, wide-ranging shop and meeting the numerous authors that kindly visit us for signings, is a daily joy.

The Falmouth Bookseller holds wonderful memories for me having been a customer when I was a child and I will never get over the excitement of opening a new box of books to discover the treats inside.

  1. Apparently I was born in the wrong Falmouth. Damn!

  2. I am extremely grateful to you Katy for your advice in helping me set up up The Mylor Brideg Reading Group.
    Thank you.

  3. When I am on holiday I enjoy coming into your shop – and leaving with a book that I had not known about. Now I am a published author I should like to drop in a few copies of my book. So next time I am down…oh, no, dont run away from the subject. It is really good news for everybody and everybody should know about it! Wade Allison, Oxford

  4. Loved the exotic photo Katy.
Always a smile and a friendly word.
    Nothing too much trouble.

Being a bit prehistoric myself and not a PC nerd, I am always happy to let you or your wonderful staff do the book-surfing for me. You have never let me down.

Love and thanks to you all,
    Ivor
